Discount Armageddon (InCryptid Series #1)

Discount Armageddon - Seanan McGuire A light and breezy read that just wasn't my cup of tea. While I know it's intended to be a funny, completely over the top and silly book, the main love interest, Dominic, didn't make sense to me as a character. I couldn't buy Verity's rather instant attraction to him. I might, however, have been reading this in the wrong mood. Perhaps if I had pictured a young Bruce Campbell playing Dominic it would have worked better for me. I don't really think I'm the target audience for this book, so this review should be filed under "outliers." I do, however, look forward to reading another one of McGuire's October Daye novels, as I quite liked Rosemary and Rue.
